Computer tomography for Ogtay Gyulalyev
Baku / 08.11.19 / Turan: Human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev was disconnected from an artificial apparatus and began to breathe himself, but this does not mean that his condition has improved, said his wife Firangiz Gyulalyeva.
According to her, the health of her husband being treated in Turkey remains critical.
“The fact is that Ogtay’s brain is full of liquid. The brain must restore its function so that the health of Ogtay improved. A second CT scan (computed tomography) was made yesterday. The results should be known today. On their basis, doctors will hold a consultation and prescribe injections into the brain. Only after that it will become known what the probability of restoration of brain function is,” said F. Gyulalyeva.

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
