Dead seals also appeared on Azerbaijani coast of Caspian Sea
Baku/08.12.22/Turan: Seyidli and Nabran villages of Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan detected 17 carcasses of seals on the shore of Caspian Sea, the Ministry of Ecology reported.
Biological samples were taken from dead animals to determine the cause of their death. The specified sea area is in the north of Azerbaijan and borders with the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea.
Earlier more than 2500 of seals were found dead on Kazakh and Russian seashores. No reason for the mass death of animals has yet been made public. -02D-
