On 21 June in the territory of Jabrayil region during demining a shell explosion occurred, following which an employee of the Demining Agency Isayev Ragif, born in 1980, was killed. This is stated in a joint report of the Interior Ministry, the General Prosecutor's Office and ANAMA.
At the same time, several other people were wounded, who were taken to the region hospital, their condition is satisfactory, but the number of injured was not specified.
An investigation is underway in the Jabrayil region prosecutor's office.
A day earlier in the village of Khorovlu in the same Jabrayil region, a truck exploded on a mine, its driver, 33-year-old Raghib Nuruev, received injuries of various degrees.
According to the latest data, since November 2020, a total of 363 people have been injured in landmines in the liberated territories, 69 of whom were killed.
