Dramatic jump in COVID-19 casesения COVID-19
Baku/04.11.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 2,706 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified, 1,937 patients have recovered, 29 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on November 4.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic was 539,710, including 501,508 people recovered, 7182 died, treatment of 31,020 active patients continues. Over the past day, 15 350 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
It should be noted that, compared to the previous days, a sharp jump in the number of cases of coronavirus infection was noted in Azerbaijan. So, on November 3, 2,256 new cases of COVID-19 infection were reported. As for vaccination, 45,041 people were vaccinated over the past 24 hours.
The number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine was 6583, the second dose was 9746, and the booster dose was 28712. The total number of vaccine doses administered in the country was 9798866.
