Eight cases of sunstroke over a week
Hot and humid weather of the last days in Azerbaijan continues to have a negative impact on meteo-dependent people. According to the Ambulance Station of Baku, this week doctors recorded eight cases of sunstroke. Three people were hospitalized. Over this summer season were registered 34 cases of sunstroke, according to the deputy chief physician, Oktay Shahmalyev.
On August 20 in Baku and Absheron is expected 36-39 degrees Celsius, and in some places 41 degrees.
In regions of the country will be even hotter; and in the central lowlands, the air will warm up to 41-43 degrees. -03D-
