EuroHome fire victims continue to rally
Baku / 12.12.19 / Turan: The silent protest rally of the owners of the burned-down EuroHome building materials market continued on Thursday, December 12. Today they again tried to block the Baku-Sumgait highway, demanding payment of compensation for the damage suffered.
Owners of burned objects accuse the Ministry of Emergencies and the owners of the center of not ensuring fire safety, and insurance companies of reluctance to insure their stores.
Meanwhile, the authorities still have not made statements about the cause of the fire, about holding anyone accountable.
After a major fire in March of this year at the Diklas shopping center, authorities promised to strengthen fire safety measures in all major trade facilities in the country. In addition, financial compensation was paid to injured entrepreneurs at the direction of the head of state. -03B-
