Farrukh Mammadzadeh Released after Interrogation in Prosecutor General's Office (UPDATED)
Baku / 05.08.20 / Turan: NIDA activist Farrukh Mammadzadeh was released on the evening of August 5.
This was announced by Ulvi Hasanli, board member of the NIDA movement.
According to him, at night he was brought from Lankaran to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Today, Mammadzadeh was taken from this department to the Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office and, after testifying, was released. -21B-

NIDA activist detained
Baku/05.08.20/Turan: An activist of the NIDA movement Faruh Mammadzade was detained in the city of Lankaran at 09:00 pm on August 4.
The young man was taken from home to the police. Until morning, no information was provided to his parents. At about noon on August 5, they were told that Mamedzade had been taken to Baku, to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said Ulvi Hasanli, board member of the NIDA movement.
Mammadzade is a public activist, he was a candidate in the recent municipal and parliamentary elections.
He also participated in a demonstration in support of the army on July 14-15 in Baku. However, he was not involved in illegal actions and always condemned provocations, Hasanli said. –06D-
