Forecasters Warn of Blizzard on Friday
Baku/10.03.21/Turan: On March 12, a sharp cold snap with snowfall and a blizzard is expected in Baku and Absheron, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology warn.
So, from Friday morning until Saturday morning, a strong north-west wind will blow with a speed of 15-20 m/s and gusts up to 23-28 m/s.
It will rain on March 11, which will turn into snow by noon on March 12. A blizzard is expected on Friday afternoon. The air temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees, and on the night of March 13 it will drop to 0 degrees.
In the regions of the country, the cooling will begin from the northern and western regions from the March 11.
Unstable weather with precipitation (snow and rain) and strong winds will remain in the country until the morning of March 13. In regions of the country, wind gusts will reach 30-33 m/s. There will be ice on the roads in mountainous areas. -02D-
