Forty six people died in the emergency since the beginning of the year
Baku / 02.05.18 / Turan: In the first quarter of 2018 in Azerbaijan occurred 1488 incidents of natural and technogenic origin. This is 781 cases or 34% less than for the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Since the beginning of the year, 46 people have died in technogenic and natural accidents, 48 have been injured.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations saved 26 people, 343 were evacuated.
During the reporting period, there were 1429 calls for fires, which resulted in the death of 43 people, 31 more were injured. Compared with the same period last year, in fires killed by 19 or 79% more. When extinguishing fires 25 people were rescued, 329 were evacuated.
In the first apartment in 2018 there were 21 explosions. Compared with the same period last year, 10 incidents or 32% less. During the explosions, 3 people were killed and 17 injured. -06D-
