Four legionary will participate at the Olympics in Sochi under the flag of Azerbaijan
The flag of Azerbaijan was hoisted in the Olympic Village in Sochi. At the 22nd Olympic Winter Games to be start on February 7 Azerbaijn will be represented by four athletes in two sports. All are legionnaires , serving under the flag of Azerbaijan. So , to compete in alpine skiing men of Azerbaijan will represent the Austrian, Patrick Brahner, and Swiss, Cedric Notts.
Cedric Notts played for Azerbaijan at the previous Olympics in Vancouver, but did not win. He failed to finish in slalom , and at the giant slalom came to finish the 79th .
The Russians Julia Zlobina and Alexei Sitnikov will also perform in Sochi under Azerbaijan's flag on the figure skating competitions. In December 2010, they became the winners of the open championship of Estonia. In September 2011, at an international tournament named Ondrej Nepela they won bronze medals.—06В--
