Flyers promoting "marriage jihad " have recently appeared in Sumgait.Commenting on this, the head of the Abubakr community of the Salafis, Gamet Suleymanov told Turan that there is no such a thing in Islam.
"Such things are attributed to those who are fighting in Syria against the Assad regime. The purpose of such slander is to discredit fighters against the authoritarian Syrian regime," he said.
The essence of "marriage jihad" is that women should go to Syria at war for sexual service to the soldiers.
According to unofficial data, such leaflets are spread by representatives of the Khawarij movement.
At the end of last year in Sumgait, there was an armed quarrel between Salafis, who refused to fight in Syria, and the Khawarij.
