Tbilisi/11.09.14/Turan-BSPRESS: A number of Georgian NGOs called Islamophobia an incident in the resort town of Kobuleti (Ajaria), and accused the government of inadequate response to the case of religious intolerance in the country. "A disturbance causes the action of local leadership and public entities, which are often discriminatory policies against religious minorities, resulting in a gross violation of the rights of minorities," reads the statement.
"We call on the authorities to ensure that appropriate measures were taken," noted in a statement.
