Growth in COVID-19 diseases could lead to tighter quarantine measures
Baku/08.07.22/Turan: Quarantine measures due to the pandemic coronavirus may be tightened. The State Compulsory Medical Insurance Agency and the Territorial Medical Units Administration (Tabib) jointly informed about it.
The reason for this is the growth in infections that has been observed in recent weeks. In the past week, the country faced a 48% growth in infections.
The epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan is under control; however, in case of further growth in infection, the quarantine measures may be tightened.
Citizens of the risk group are advised to follow sanitary and hygiene rules and get vaccinated with second or booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine," the report says. -016-
