Harutyunyan's new likely leader of Armenians is characterized by Azerbaijan-phobia
Baku/01.04.20/Turan: Although the preliminary results of the Karabakh elections of March 31 were not announced, it is already becoming clear that one of the candidates will not be able to get 50 + 1 votes, which means that a second round of elections will be held. This was announced on his Facebook page by the coordinator of the programs of the public organization “Association of Informed Citizens”, carrying out an observation mission in the NK, Daniel Ioannisyan.
"The tables and counts received from our observers in all 8 district election commissions indicate that one of the presidential candidates did not get 50 percent of the vote and the second round will be on April 14 (not to mention its epidemiological consequences). These figures may change during the recount, and of the candidates Araik Harutyunyan, according to our estimates, did not have a small number of votes in order to gain 50 percent,” Ioannisyan noted.
It is expected that the preliminary results of the elections will be announced tonight at 20.00.
There is little doubt that Nagorno-Karabakh will be led by Araik Harutyunyan, who served as "NKR Prime Minister" from September 2007 to September 2017. Since September 25, 2017, he is "the NKR Minister of State".
In Harutyunyan’s election platform, open anti-Azerbaijani rhetoric is noticeable. For Araik Harutyunyan, the option of resolving the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, which was discussed by the previous authorities of Armenia and stated at a press conference by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, is unacceptable. “Armenpress” reports, Harutyunyan wrote about this on his Facebook page, responding to Pashinyan’s appeal addressed to all candidates for “NK President”.
"After being elected president, we will not spare the strength and energy so that all the territories enshrined in the NK Constitution become prosperous regions. I spoke about this today during a meeting with the collars, and, taking this opportunity, I say this to all of Armenia and the whole world,” Harutyunyan wrote.
The Armenians call the Azerbaijani city of Gubadly captured by the Armenian army, as Vorotan. —0—

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
