On January 22 a twenty-year-old chairman of the organization "Free LGBT", Isa Shahmarly, committed suicide, Turan was in that organization. The reason for his suicide is unknown, but friends say that Isa Shahmarly had problems with his family. Before a suicide he said goodbye to his friends in facebook, leaving the following entry: "I'm leaving this world and this country is not for me. I am leaving to become happy. Tell my mother that I love her very much. All are guilty in my death. This world is not so multicolor, to have my color too. Goodbye." Turan agency failed to contact with his family.
Last week "Nefes LGBT" organization appealed the Interior Ministry, and asked to protect sexual minorities from discrimination. In the appeal they noted that over the past 10 days , there were two hate crimes towards sexual minorities. -16B04-

This year, 22,000 foreign language teachers and an additional 4,000 teachers who were unable to pass certification last year will be involved in the certification process, the director of the state agency for preschool and general education, Eshgi Bagirov, announced on February 12.
