Baku/23.05.23/Turan: At 6 pm on May 22 a heavy downpour and hail hit Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Nakhchivan told Turan that the water torrents flooded private houses, outbuildings, roads and basements.
The disaster also affected several other regions of Nakhchivan, where infrastructure and farmland were also damaged.
According to the villagers, there has never been such a downpour and hail in Nakhchivan.
