In connection with Europa League Final, Part of AZAL and Buta Airways Flights to Be Canceled
Baku / 04.26.19 / Turan: Due to the workload of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport during the Europa League football final that will be held in Baku on May 29, 2019, changes have been made to the flights of Azerbaijan Airlines and Buta Airways.
Some of the flights have been postponed, and more than 10 flights have been canceled completely.

As reported by the press service of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines, passengers of the above flights will be notified in accordance with the procedure of the airline by the telephone numbers specified when purchasing the ticket. Passengers of canceled and modified flights, at their request, will be offered alternative flight options. -06D--

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony. The invitation, delivered by Member of the European Parliament Michael Bloss at the COP29 climate conference, comes as Ibadoglu remains under house arrest and prohibited from leaving Azerbaijan.
