Jewelry worth 250 thousand manats was seized from the passenger of the Dubai-Baku flight
Baku/14.08.23 /Turan: Customs officers of the Baku airport found in the luggage of a passenger who arrived on the Dubai-Baku flight a large number of undeclared jewelry totaling more than 250 thousand manats.
According to the State Customs Committee, a criminal case has been opened under Article 206.3.2 (Smuggling) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
During the operational search activities, 3 persons involved in the commission of a crime were identified and detained. All of them were arrested by a court decision. The investigation is ongoing.
However, the report does not disclose the names of the detainees, their citizenship and when exactly this happened. --02D--
