Lawyers are not allowed to see Elchin Sadigov
Baku/13.09.22/Turan: Lawyers are not allowed to meet with lawyer Elchin Sadigov, who is being held in the pre-trial detention center of the State Security Service, stated by Sadigov's wife, also a lawyer, Zibeyda Sadigova. She refuted the statement of the Prosecutor General's Office that the lawyers met with Elchin Sadigov.
According to her, the investigator in the case does not respond to appeals and phone calls to Sadigov's three lawyers. Not allowing lawyers to see Sadigov causes deep concern among his relatives, the wife noted.
Recall that E. Sadigov and A. Zeynalli were arrested on September 11 in the so-called case of "taking a bribe", initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office on the basis of media reports.
Both denied the accusations. -06B-
