The other 8 members of NCTR are also appointed by the Head of State for 2, 3 and 6 years.
Further, members elect the NCTR chairman. In this case, it is not difficult to guess who they will elect.
NCTR is intended to regulate and monitor the implementation of laws and journalistic and ethical standards by the media. However, in reality, NCTR practically does not interfere in any issues, acting as an observer.
