The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the "successful model of regional development" of Ilham Aliyev and the successful completion of the next state program of social development of the regions for the period 2014-2018. The author notes that 24.2 billion manat was allocated for the development of the regions, and the IV regional development program will be allocated 17 billion manat.
The website Moderator.az writes about the attitude of the authorities towards one of the founders of the Azerbaijan People"s Republic, Mammad Emin Rasulzadeh. The author regrets because the authorities do not pay due respect to this man. The author cites interesting cases from Rasulzadeh"s life, underscoring his nobility and the desire to serve the country as an example.
The newspaper Novoye Vremya writes about the likelihood of a new devaluation and the attitude of the head of the Central Bank, Elman Rustamov, to this assumption. He called rumors of devaluation groundless. "They just chat, without good reason. To date, there are no prerequisites for the growth of the dollar against the manat. On this occasion, there is a decision of the Central Bank. Dollar appreciation in Azerbaijan is not discussed. The whole macroeconomic situation in Azerbaijan this year is based on macroeconomic stability," Rustamov said. However, no one seriously takes his statements, the newspaper notes.
