The situation in Azerbaijan's trade, the reasons for the high cost of seasonal fruits, contradictions in the decision to close kindergartens, abuse of authority by Russian peacekeepers are the topics of today's media.

Müsavat.com discusses the situation in the Bina shopping center, where trade is weak. Sellers are forced to call buyers by promising  sell of  goods for 1 manat ... Because of the pandemic, people try not to go to crowded places, and there are practically no visitors even on Sunday. Traders complain that the authorities do not think about them at all when they are going to impose strict quarantines.

The site “Sfera.az” is the reason for the high prices for seasonal fruits in the country. The author notes that for several years now, prices for seasonal fruits have been high.

A few days ago, they wrote in social networks that 1 kg of cherry plum  was sold for 175 manats! Experts believe that prices depend on the yield. All hope for the weather, if it fails, then prices will soar even more.

The site Redaktor.az writes that there are contradictions in the decisions of the Ministry of Education regarding the work of kindergartens in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Sheki and in the Absheron region. Education Minister Emin Amrullayev said that kindergartens will not be closed during the quarantine period. However, on April 5, the parents could not send their children to the kindergartens, due to the vaccination of the staff.

The site “Modern.az” discusses the issue of abuse of authority by Russian peacekeepers, who use the name “NKR” instead of simply “Karabakh”.

Russia is taking actions that do not comply with the agreement of November 10, 2020 and is trying to expand the territory controlled by the peacekeepers. According to some reports, there are up to 10 thousand Armenian soldiers on the territory of Azerbaijan, and the peacekeepers turn a blind eye to this.
