The reasons for easing the quarantine regime, the discussion of the issue of children's money and the organization of the new school year are topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about easing the quarantine regime and returning to normal life, as well as assessing the situation with COVID-19. To date, 31 thousand people have been cured of the coronavirus. Serological tests will begin this week, involving about 1,500 people. The project will start in Baku and continue in Sumgayit and Ganja.
At the beginning of July, the number of infected people daily was over 500, now this figure is about 100.
The website Yenisabah.az is discussing with the deputy Vahid Ahmedov the issue of issuing children's money. The MP believes that this issue can be implemented, and it is at the stage of discussion in parliament.
It is believed that some benefits may not be issued, however, children's money must be issued without fail, the deputy said.
The Milli Majlis has created a commission on this issue. There are proposals to give out children's money up to 7-8 or up to 17-18 years. It will depend on the state budget, the deputy said.
The Arqument.az website discusses the issue of school education in the new school year - in the traditional way or remotely. This issue was discussed at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on science and education on August 17 with the participation of Education Minister Emin Amrullayev.
The traditional training option is associated with certain risks. The Minister stressed the importance of taking into account the level of mobility of people in the regular educational process. According to him, all forms of continuous education in the "green", "yellow", "orange" and "red" zones have been studied and proposals have been made. –0----
