The essence of the Seventh Baku Global Forum, the discontent of the residents with the "Soviet" amount of compensation, the discussion of the recovery of issuing children's money are the topics of today's media.
The "Azerbaijan" newspaper assesses the Seventh Global Forum in Baku on the theme "New World Foreign Policy".
The event brought together over 550 representatives from 55 countries. The Baku process, created at the initiative of Azerbaijan, has become a global movement supported by the UN. The author quotes from the speech of President Ilham Aliyev at the Forum.
The newspaper Yeni Musavat writes about the situation with compensation to former residents of Sovetskaya Street. For each square. a meter to residents is issued 1,500 manat, but residents claim that it is not enough, since prices have now risen. For this reason, compensation should be increased to 2,000 manat per square meter, or let the residents be provided with apartments in newly built houses.
The site "Oxu.az" cites the deputy"s opinion on the restoration of issuing children's money. MP Musa Guliyev stands for the restoration of such practice that took place in Soviet times as children's money is in its essence also a social benefit. However, it is necessary to investigate the question of how much allowance should be given and for how many years.
In 2000, children's money was eliminated, because the amount was scanty. If this issue is resolved positively, the children of families receiving targeted social assistance should not be deprived of children's money.
