The website Yeni Sabah.az talks about the problem of pastures in villages of the Agsu district. In 2004-2006, about 1,000 hectares of pastures were leased by municipalities to private individuals for 99 years.
There were no places left for cattle pasture, even those 200 hectares that were located in the foothill zone were plowed up, leased by Batabat LLC.
In one part of this territory, vineyards were planted. Then these 200 hectares were transferred to Rauf Inshaat LLC and now they are being sown there. Local residents claim that on the state map this territory is designated as pasture. Residents of the village turned to the President of the country and the First Vice President, but received no answer.
