Mehman Huseynov is not allowed to meet with a family member

Baku /15.01.18/Turan: Blogger Mehman Huseynov, who is detained in the Baku pre-trial detention center -1, was denied a meeting with a family member today. The blogger"s brother, Emin Huseynov, who is in political emigration, told the agency Turan.

According to him, due to the poor health of his father, the spouse of his brother Ophelia Huseynov went to meet with Mehman. However, she was denied a meeting, stating that they would only give the meeting to her father.

Despite the fact that O.Huseynova submitted documents, including the marriage certificate with the blogger"s brother, and the evidence that M.Huseynov was calling from the detention center to her number, they did not give a meeting. They only accepted clothes for the blogger, as well as milk and yogurt.

According to his brother, Mehman is deliberately isolated, putting pressure on refusing to stop the hunger strike, which he continues for the 21st day.

"At the same time, the authorities are seeking to block information on the continuation of the hunger strike by Mehman and convince everyone that the hunger strike has been terminated," said Emin Huseynov. -06D-
