Member of the National Council called to the prosecutor's office for his publications
Baku/22.08.19/Turan: On 22 August the Member of the Coordination Center of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NSDS) Tofig Yagublu was summoned to the Prosecutor General due to his interviews and posts on social networks.
"They told me that I am making statements against the state without specifying specific facts. I said that neither in the interview, nor in the statuses on social networks I did not allow this.
However, I was warned that if I "continue this activity", a lawsuit will be launched against me," Yagublu told Turan.
He regarded the summon to the prosecutor office as pressure due to his political activities.
"This is also an indicator of the absence of freedom of speech in the country and democracy in general," said Yagublu. -06D--
