Minister of Interior Receives Nardaranis in Sabunchu Police
Interior Minister Ramil Usubov met with a group of residents of Nardaran in the building of Sabunchu Police Department yesterday.
As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, Usubov spoke about the ongoing operational search and preventive measures to restore public order and security. According to him, the criminal situation in Nardaran is completely under control. Usubov also said the intensive construction work and measures to address social problems in the village will continue.
* On November 26, during a special operation in Nardaran in order to arrest the leader of the Muslim Unity Movement Thale Bagirzade 7 people were killed, including two policemen. Together with Bagirzade 14 people were detained, against whom serious allegations are put forward, including attempts to overthrow the constitutional order.
On December 1 special troops were deployed in the village. They are still there. Arrests and searches have been carried out in the village for 1.5 months. According to unofficial data, criminal charges have been raised against 30 people. -16D-
