President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On additional measures for construction a new Zoological Park in the territory of Absheron district."
According to the order, 4.5 million manat have been allocated for the construction of the zoo from the Reserve Fund Head of State in 2012. Last year the Ministry of Environment received three million manat to build enclosures.
Overall, since December 2008, after the decree "On the establishment of the Zoological Park in the country" signed by Ilham Aliyev, over 10 million manta were allocated for these purposes.
The Zoo will be built in Absheron district near the Baku-Sumgayit road. However, no one has seen the project yet.–06D-
