MNS Arrested another Group of Religious Radicals
The Ministry of National Security reported the arrest of a group of Azerbaijani citizens in an anti-terrorist operation. They are suspected of involvement in the fighting in the terrorist groups Islamic State, Jebhet An-Nusra and Jundu Sham.
The Press Service of the Ministry of National Security told their names: Zaur Heydarov, Elbrus Azizov, Vagif Talibov, Rufan Agjabekov and Elshan Ismayilov.
The Investigation Department of the National Security Ministry has opened a criminal case on the creation of illegal armed groups, inciting ethnic hatred and committing such acts abroad.
The above-mentioned persons were arrested by a court decision.
The report also states that the acts were committed in Syria and Iraq in 2013-2015. -02D-
