Number of Corona Virus Infected in Azerbaijan Reaches Eleven
Baku /10.03.20 / Turan: The operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers late in the evening of March 9 reported two more confirmed cases of Corona Virus infection in Azerbaijan. Both infected are citizens of Azerbaijan, born in 1966 and 1978, returning from Iran.
The patients were admitted to a special treatment hospital and are monitored. Both feel normal, their condition assessed as stable.
Thus, the number of people infected with Corona Virus in Azerbaijan has reached eleven.
The health of one of them - a citizen of Azerbaijan born in 1938 remains "stably medium-heavy." The patient is under observation and necessary measures are being taken to improve his health.
The condition of other patients admitted to the hospital for special treatment is stable, the operational headquarters emphasizes.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers does not report new data on quarantined persons suspected of Corona Virus.

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website. Hours after the election, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated at a briefing that 413 out of 685 municipalities had already been formed, with 7,791 candidates identified as leaders.
