Baku / 10.05.18 / Turan: The day before, an activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Mirfeyzullah Seyidov was detained. As reported by PFPA, his family was informed about his detention only on May 10.
From the Narimanov District Police Department, the officers called Seyidov"s home and told the family that he was with them. The reasons for the detention were not told, reporting the need for urgent delivery of drugs.
Seyidov suffers from kidney disease for a long time and undergoes special treatment through dialysis. The next procedure is to be held on May 11. In the event of termination of the procedure, the patient may die.
Earlier, on May 7, the PFPA activist Orkhan Bakhyshly was detained. He was charged with illegal drug trafficking on a large scale and a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months was chosen. -05B06-
