One Who Beat Rasim Aliyev Also Accused of Stealing
The lawyer of the family of the murdered journalist Rasim Aliyev, Asabali Mustafayev, doubts that the criminal case on the crime will soon go to court. He said this to Turan, commenting on statements by officials about sending the case to court.
One of these days he will meet with the investigator of the Baku Prosecutor's Office in order to get an answer to the petition on the theft of the cell phone and wallet of the deceased.
According to the lawyer, on this episode a criminal case has been also initiated under Article 177 (theft) against one of the defendants.
However, there is still no expert opinion on the causes of Aliyev’s death.
In addition, a number of procedures have been violated. According to the lawyer, the investigation will be completed no earlier than six weeks.
Recall that today the Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov said that the investigation into the murder of Rasim Aliyev has been completed and will soon be sent to the court.
* Recall that Rasim Aliyev was savagely beaten on August 8 by relatives of the football player Javid Huseynov because of his criticism of the athlete on Facebook.
With hard traumas the journalist was taken to City Clinical Center N1, where he died a day later. On this case five people are prosecuted on charges of grievous bodily harm, and Huseynov is prosecuted for "not reporting the crime." -05B06-
