CTP Insurance Collected 60 Million Manat

The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) members received awards on compulsory insurance of civil liability to third parties (CTP) in the total amount of 58 million 486.35 thousand AZN by October 1 (+ 13.1% to the same period last year).

According to the information on the BCI site, in the first three quarters they concluded 746,518 contracts (+ 8.4%).

Recall the sale of insurance policies on the new tariffs and new conditions started on December 16, 2011. The basic rate is 50 manat and is valid for vehicles with an engine capacity of up to 1,500 cubic cm. The maximum rate - 5 (250 manats) applies to funds with an engine capacity of 5 thousand cubic cm or more.

Within the framework of this insurance type the amount to be paid at property damage and damage to the health of a person is at 5,000 manats with a total limit for one event in 50,000 manats.

Members of the BCI are 15 insurance companies. Three of them are engaged in life insurance and 11 are authorized to provide services for CTP insurance.

Last year, CTP insurance collected 70 million 687.55 thousand manats. --17D-
