Opening of Baku-Amman flight is discussed
Baku/04.04.22/Turan: On April 4, President of the state company AZAL Jahangir Asgarov discussed with Jordanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sami Asem Gosheh the opening of Baku-Amman flight between the two countries.
The possibility of flights between Baku and Amman was planned as early as the end of May 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The opening of direct flights will create new business opportunities in Azerbaijan and Jordan.
The Ambassador of Jordan is confident that the new flight will arouse great interest among the citizens of both countries, AZAL reports.—06B-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
