Twenty nine drug dealers arrested
Baku/04.04.22/Turan: As a result of operational activities opf the employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Drugs, over the past 15 days, 29 people have been detained with a total weight of 63 kilo of drugs, 550 psychotropic pills, as well as 468 hemp bushes weighing 91 kg, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The operations were carried out in the Hovsan settlement, Yasamal, Nizami, Narimanov, Surakhani, Sabunchi, Binagadi districts of Baku, as well as in the Apsheron, Salyan, Jalilabad, Astara, Yevlakh and Bilasuvar districts and the cities of Ganja and Lankaran.
Criminal cases have been initiated on the facts, the detainees have been arrested.-05D06-.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony. The invitation, delivered by Member of the European Parliament Michael Bloss at the COP29 climate conference, comes as Ibadoglu remains under house arrest and prohibited from leaving Azerbaijan.
