Over 3.5 thousand cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/28.01.22/Turan: Over the past day, 3,564 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 1,004 patients have recovered, 19 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on January 28.
In total, 647,073 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the pandemic, 621,186 people have recovered, 8,683 have died, and the number of active patients is 17,204.
Over the past day, 12,445 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in the country.
Also, over the past day, 30,887 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 2,503, the second - 2,065, the booster dose - 26,319 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,936,475, of which 5,225,069 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,738,970 received two doses, and 1,972,436 received a booster dose.—06B-
