Telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran
Baku / 28.01.22 / Turan: On Friday, the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran Jeyhun Bayramov and Hussein Amir Abdullahian had a telephone conversation and expressed satisfaction with the development of "various aspects" of bilateral relations, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said. In particular, with the recent visits of Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rustam Gasimi to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov to Iran and the agreements reached.
It was noted that the implementation of joint projects, and in particular the completion in 2022 of the construction of a new bridge across the Astarachay River, as well as a railway cargo terminal in the city of Astara, will have a positive impact on the development of bilateral ties.
It was also noted with satisfaction that the next meeting of the State Commission for Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation between the two countries will be held in March this year in Baku. —06В-
