PFPA Activist Arrested for 10 Days
Baku / 23.12.19 / Turan: An activist of the Sumgait city organization of the Popular Front Party, Kenan Azizli, was arrested for 10 days. This was reported in PFPA.
He was taken from his house on December 21 and was held in police custody until morning.
On December 22, the Sumgayit city court sentenced Azizli to 10 days of arrest under Art. 535.1 (not subordinate to the police) Code of Administrative Offenses
PFPA considers the arrest of Azizli as a continuation of pressure on the party.
Earlier, about 40 PFPA activists were arrested for periods of 5 to 60 days. Another member of the party - Pasha Umudov was charged with drug trafficking. –06D-
