PFPA Activist Arrested
Baku / 14.04.20 / Turan: Member of the Popular Front Party Baba Suleiman was arrested on April 14 by a court decision. He was detained near the house of the Popular Front Party leader Ali Karimli.
Suleiman left the house, receiving SMS permission from number 8103. However, he was detained and taken away in an unknown direction. Later it turned out that the activist was taken to the Nasimi court, which arrested him administratively. However, what the activist was accused of and for how many days he was arrested is unknown in the PFPA.
In the Nasimi court, the Turan agency was confirmed the trial chaired by Jamila Musayeva. However, the assistant judge refused to provide details of the decision regarding Suleiman.
The press service of the metropolitan police also did not comment on the detention, citing a lack of information.
Note that over the past two weeks more than 10 oppositionists have been arrested in the country, most of them members of the Popular Front Party. –21B06-
