Baku / 26.06.20 / Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party, Firdovsi Amrahov, was detained in the city of Ganja in the west of the country the day before.
According to the PFPA, Amrahov was taken to Baku after the arrest.
At the same time, Amrahov’s Facebook account was deleted, which gives reason to believe that the detention is related to his activities on social networks.
The PFPA indicated that at first 20 party activists were arrested in an administrative order due to the pandemics, three were charged with criminal charges, and one was imprisoned in a mental hospital.

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
