When by 21.30 Ahmedov’s comrades arrived at the Binagadi prison, they were told there that the activist had already been released, the Popular Front Party reported. It is reported that during the arrest of Ahmedov, they were taken to the State Security Service, where under torture he was required to testify against Ali Karimli. After a few days in the State Security Service on May 9, he was returned to the Binagadi detention center.
