PFPA Announces Detention of Party Activist
Baku / 13.07.20 / Turan: A member of the Popular Front party Arif Pashayev disappeared the day before, this opposition organization said on July 13.
The PFPA believes that he was detained. “At three in the morning, police officers came to their home in Terter and began to question him. Without catching Arif, they took the activist’s father to the police.
In the morning, Pashayev’s mobile phone did not answer. We believe that he is detained,” the PFPA said.
The party believes that the reason for the possible detention may be his critical publications on social networks and political activities.
