Baku / 23.11.18 / Turan: The fact of illegal hunting for a brown bear was recorded in the Ismayilli region. According to the Ministry of Environment, this incident occurred in the forest area of Baskal, which is part of the Shahdag national park.
According to the same source, the local gamekeeper, hearing the sounds of gunfire, arrived at the place where he found six unknown persons who had shot a brown bear.
Attempts by the gamekeeper to delay the poachers did not yield any results, but he was able to capture them on video.
In order to identify the poachers, the police of the Ismayilli region began to look for them, the report says.
