Police Officer Who Insulted Woman Suspended from Work - Ministry of Internal Affairs
Baku / 09.06.20 / Turan: The videos made during the detention of residents who threw garbage at the police on June 7 were investigated. It was established that one of the police officers "used inappropriate expressions against the woman and her husband." This is regarded as unacceptable behavior, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs suspended the police officer and decided to conduct an official investigation against him.
As for the insulted woman, she was invited to the Main Police Department of Baku and they apologized to her, the statement said.
However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is bashfully silent about the fact that the police themselves made a scandalous video. In these shootings, one of the policemen says to another: “And was that woman from the 4th floor who had filmed us caught?” This indicates not just unethical behavior, but a direct violation of the law by the police.
Recall that the public’s indignation was caused by personnel on social networks on which a police officer insults a woman, shouting several times: “You are a hare, a hare, and your husband is a hare, too!”
According to the blogger Habib Muntezir, the indicated police officer is a graduate of Ilahiyat (Theology) University, Yusif Babiroglu born in 1987. — 06D-

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
