Baku/26.05.21/Turan: Over the past day, the police seized 62 kilograms of drugs from circulation.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Shamkir district police department of the Main Department for Combating Drugs detained a resident of the district, Mutallim Khalilov, suspected of selling drugs. 94 cannabis bushes were found in the mountainous area of his village. on him, which he had grown for the purpose of selling.
In the course of operational activities, the close ties of Mutallim Khalilov were checked and his acquaintances - a resident of Ganja, Yusif Orujev, and his countryman, Abulfaz Ismailov, were detained.
“During the inspection, Yusif Orujev was found to have marijuana packaged for sale in 7 matchboxes. 4 firearms were found and seized from Abulfaz Ismayilov, including AKM and AKS submachine guns, 1 TOZ-16 carbine, 1 MP-155 shotgun, 2 boxes for this weapon and 36 cartridges”"
As a result of another operation carried out by the staff of the Main Department in the city of Khirdalan, Absheron district, a resident of Ganja, Novruz Verdiyev, was detained on suspicion of selling narcotic drugs. Drugs with a total weight of about 32 kilograms were found in him and his home, including 23 kilograms of 435 grams of heroin, 6 kilograms of 400 grams of opium, about 2 kilograms of methamphetamine and 1 unit of electronic scales.
As a result of another operation carried out by the staff of the Main Department in the Absheron district, a resident of the village of Masazyr, Elmin Guliyev, was detained. During the examination, 2 kilograms of 415 grams of heroin, 3 kilograms of 145 grams of methamphetamine, 470 grams of opium, 3 units of electronic scales and counterfeit banknotes in the amount of US $ 4,400 were found and seized.
The Tovuz district police department identified and destroyed 1,180 cannabis bushes grown by cultivation. -03-
