In 2015, the list was expanded by the cities of Shirvan, Mingachevir and Imishli. In the current economic climate it is offered to eliminate subsidies. Yeni Musavat writes that there will be changes in the state budget. All social and investment projects will be implemented, based on the oil price of $ 25.
The expert Azer Mehdiyev believes that an important role in this issue is played by dependence on oil, since 60-70% of the budget is generated by oil.
After the devaluation the implementation of large and expensive projects is not possible and the authorities should proceed to a saving mode. If oil falls to 25 dollars, the decline in economic activity in Azerbaijan will be inevitable, Mehdiyev believes.
