Baku/02.06.22/Turan: A group of veterans of the second Karabakh war, about 10 people, today held a protest in front of the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. Their complaints were related to receiving disability and social benefits. The veterans demanded that Minister Sahil Babayev come out to them and solve their problems.
After refusal, the veterans broke into the reception room, where a mess arose. In turn, the department of public relations of the Ministry of Labor confirmed that the requirement of veterans was related to the assessment of disability.
“Each appeal has been registered and will be considered, and measures will be taken in accordance with the results,” the Ministry of Labor said. The same source indicated that some veterans “committed illegal acts in the reception department, broke computer equipment, the front door, the turnstile, damaged state property.” “In this regard, measures will also be taken,” the statement of the Ministry of Labor. -06B30-
