Relatives of Missing Military Appeal to Ibrahimbekov
Family members of over 100 soldiers who went missing during the 1991-94 hostilities in Karabakh appealed to presidential candidate Rustam Ibrahimbekov, head of the National Council of Democratic Forces,.
They complained of bureaucratic arbitrariness and lack of the insurance payments. Many of them have a court decision ordering the payment of compensation, but have not received the money.
Appeals to President Ilham Aliyev, the head of the Constitutional Court, the Speaker of Parliament, and the Ombudsman have not provided results.
The relatives complain about the lack of public concern over the past 20 years. They ask Ibrahimbekov to accept them and listen to them, to help solve their problem.-03D06-
