Repairs on Babek Avenue Finally Completed
Baku / 11/29/18 / Turan: Repair works are being completed on one of the major highways of Baku - Babek Avenue. In the coming days, the road 9 km long will be put into operation, said the head of the press service of the State Agency of Highways Anar Najafli.
In the course of repair work, the sewer and water supply infrastructure was updated, the sidewalks were restored and expanded, and the electric lighting system was updated.
The roadway is expanded to 16 meters.
Also in 22 places "pockets" have been set aside for buses to stop at the bus stops, so that they do not interfere with traffic. Additional places have been created for turning vehicles in the opposite direction.
Recall that the repair work began in early 2018.
Earlier it was reported that they will be completed before September. However, the repair and reconstruction was delayed for more than 10 months. -05D06--
